About the Founder

Gwendolyn Miller has a Master's Degree in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Care from Fordham University in Bronx, NY. As a Pastoral Counselor and Licensed
Professional Counselor, expertly blends biblical principles with evidence-based
therapeutic practices. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and
Trauma-Focused Therapy, and holds certifications in Dialectical Behavioral
Therapy, Mindfulness Practices, and Grief Counseling.

OUR SERVICES

Individual Sessions

We provide individual sessions for adolescences and adults facing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and other life-altering challenges that can lead to stress.

Spiritual Care and Biblical Coaching

Gwendolyn has been a disciple of Jesus for 26 years and has walked with many, guiding them on how to live their lives for God, according to His word. Through her ministry, Love Abundantly Ministry, Gwendolyn has led workshops for non-profits, churches, and retreats. In addition, she has ministered at seminars and conference across the country.

Mindfulness Based Approach

Mindfulness Based Approach incorporates an understanding of the foundation of mindfulness practices. As a certified mindfulness based therapist, Gwendolyn merges mindfulness with a Biblical perspective and guides her clients in how to apply it to their every day lives.

Sample of Mindfulness technique: Floating Bubble

In my personal life I have seen the benefits of meditation, so I try to use it often. In my practice, I encourage my clients to use it in their lives in order to help them when they are feeling anxious or overwhelmed. Floating Bubble Meditation is a great technique to use when you have difficulty facing your emotions and problems. This techniques leads you into relaxing and facing the problems, but also releasing them from your body, where we hold our stress and other emotions.
